I see sadness everywhere
Quite the contrary to the sunshine out there
Dark clouds have settled upon my head
All I want is to crawl back into bed
Sad songs ringing throughout my head
It’s all melancholy that I see ahead
Those horrible days have consumed me whole
Now I cry myself to sleep till four
I drag myself to work every day
I put on a fake smile every single day
Nobody notices, nobody cares
That is how the world is, I can swear
People ask me how I am
I say fine with really tight lips
But it’s also time that I get over this
